A recruitment is one job opening.

A recruitment belongs to a department, a position, or both. A recruitment can also name a team, a work location, an employment category, and the legal entity that will employ the hire. A hiring manager and a recruitment owner run each recruitment.

Three fields are set for you, and a request can't change them. status comes from the deadline, published changes when the recruitment is published externally, and recruitmentNumber comes from a number range.
