Inventory Decreases

An inventory decrease is an adjustment document that removes stock without a sale, such as after breakage, shrinkage, a write-off, or a count that found less stock.

An inventory decrease is created as a draft and moves no stock until it's committed. A draft can be changed or deleted. A committed inventory decrease can't, and no endpoint cancels it.

One warehouse location applies to the whole document, and every line takes its stock from that location.

A line can name only batch numbers and serial numbers that its item already has. Name each one by its number or its id. A number is matched against the batch numbers or serial numbers of the line's item. On an updateLines item, a number is matched only when the item also sends itemId, so otherwise name the batch or serial by its id. An unknown number or id returns UNKNOWN_TRACKING_NUMBER.
