# Retrieve a position

Operation ID: `getPsaPosition`

Group: PSA › Positions

[Open in the interactive reference](https://docs.api.lensing.ai/lensing/v1/endpoints/getPsaPosition)

`GET /psa/positions/{id}`

Read-only: Reads and returns; changes nothing.

Retrieves a position. The psaProjectId and the other reference ids on a position are numeric ids, not UUIDs, so you can't use them to read the project or any other record they point to.

## Parameters

| Name | In | Type | Required | Description |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| `Api-Version` | header | string · v1 | yes | The API version this request targets, named by its public identifier. Required on every request; omitting it, or naming a version this company does not have, is answered with 400. This document describes version `v1`. |
| `id` | path | string | yes | The unique identifier of the position you want to retrieve. Example: `"7c2e91a4-58fd-4b30-9e17-3a6d05fb824c"`. |
